A clean, straight and tight copy with lightly dusted head and fore-edge in a jacket with chipping at head of rear fold and with about a six-inch by one-half-inch portion of rear fold missing as a result of what appears to be insect damage - repaired with aging clear tape.. Front fold also lightly chipped and with modest chipping to bottom of spine panel. Publisher’s bookplate, signed by both the author and illustrator Lee Brown Coye affixed to front free endpaper.
