There’s some books in this catalog I don’t like. This isn’t one of them. Of all the Pythonian material to come down the pike, and I guess there hasn’t been THAT much, this one is the Pythoniest. Here the Pythons themselves tell their whole sordid story, individually and as a troop. This is an outsize hardcover (quarto) and includes a massive amount of pictures, paintings, drawings and ephemera. It’s great fun, it’s exceptionally well done, and it will give you days and weeks of reading and viewing pleasure both now and in the future. This is a book you’d like to have. What’s the downside? Well, you really will want to read it and the damn thing weighs six pounds. You’ll have a permanent crease in your lap, but you’ll gain a couple inches of firm muscle in your chest area from toting the thing around. #20627
