Very nice. Very Good. Very important. Very Cool. Real steampunk stuff or, more accurately, original steam-powered stories from before there were rockets, atomic power or digital computers. Ashley, according to this reporter, is one of the most knowledgeable and discerning editors and compilers of all time and you can trust his judgment completely. No household names herein, and I can’t pretend to be familiar with all the contributors or the works, but if you have any interest in vintage SF, this is an anthology you simply can’t be without.
