One of 200 signed and numbered hardcover copies. About eighteen stories. Of all the writers writing fabulous fiction today, I believe A.A. Attanasio to be the most lyrical and the most imaginative. Nobody writes like Attanasio. In less talented hands his stylized prose would seem self-conscience and contrived. With Attanasio it’s simply a rare direct connection to his imagination and his staggering talent. I’m so pleased to see his short stuff get some special attention here. Here’s a fabulous retrospective of his work, its evolution and maturation. Then there’s the man: AAA is one of the nicest most self-effacing and thoughtful people it’s ever been my pleasure to encounter. I can’t recommend his work highly enough. We intend to see to it personally that this edition goes out of print quickly.   #35240
